Overview: This immersive hands-on cooking workshop offers a deep dive into the rich culinary traditions of Kerala. Participants will enjoy an interactive experience that includes a tour of a bio-organic spice farm, exploration of local villages, and a comprehensive cooking session in a traditional Kerala kitchen. This workshop is designed for small groups, ensuring personalized attention and an intimate learning environment.

Itinerary:

• Arrival (9:00 AM):
  • Arrive at the Organic Spice Farm in Kadalikad.
  • Enjoy a warm welcome with light refreshments.
• Local Exploration
  • Guided tour of the spice farm, showcasing sustainable farming practices and bio-organic techniques.
  • Learn about various spices and their traditional uses.
  • Visit the pineapple market, rubber plantations, and rice fields.
  • Experience local art with a visit to a truck painter’s workshop (seasonal).
  • Auto-rickshaw or car ride through neighboring villages.
  • Interact with locals and observe daily activities.
• Introduction to Kerala Cuisine and Cooking Session
  • Introduction to traditional Kerala vegetarian cuisine.
  • Explanation of key ingredients and cooking techniques.
  • Hands-on cooking session of  three Kerala dishes  in a traditional Kerala kitchen.
  • Participants can choose to actively cook, watch, or both.
  • Learn to prepare a variety of vegetarian dishes (vegan options available).
  • Photography opportunities throughout the session.
• Lunch
  • Enjoy a delicious lunch featuring the dishes prepared during the cooking session.
• Return or Continue Journey
  • Return to your hotel or continue your journey to other nearby destinations.

• Price: Rs. 5500 per person, inclusive of food, bottled water, and all activities mentioned above. Price valid until 31 May 2025.
• Group Size: Maximum of 8 participants to ensure a personalized experience. Demo sessions available for larger groups on request.
